Tulsa Golf Finishes 13th at Schooner Fall Classic

NOMRAN, Okla. –– The Golden Hurricane women's golf team shot eight over par on Monday and over two days to finish 13th at a weather affected 2024 Schooner Fall Classic at the Belmar Golf Club.
What was a 54-hole tournament turned into 36 after Sunday's round was halted and then abandoned due to poor weather. Any scores from the day were discarded and the teams started anew on Monday.
The Hurricane dropped from 10th to 13th after carding 288 on the final day. Houston shot five under on Monday to jump Auburn, who had a three-stroke lead entering the day, and win the tournament at -9. Auburn shot even par to finish second at -7. Florida State entered the day +4 but recovered to shoot -10 on Monday to slide into third.
Sydeny Seigel led the Tulsa golfers after carding 72 to finish +2 on the day and the tournament, good enough for a tie in 33rd. Allyn Stephens shot a one over 71 to place in a tie for 37th a stroke behind Seigel.
Lovisa Gunnar shot two over on both days to finish +4 in a tie for 42nd. Hanna Robinnett (+6) was three over par on both days. Jennifer Roller (+8) shot four over in each day of the Schooner Fall Classic. Competing as an individual, Norah Seidl (+15) shot eight over on the final day.
The Golden Hurricane will return to action on Oct. 14 with the first day of the Dale McNamara Invitational. The two-day event will take place at Ceder Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow.
