TULSA, Okla. – Senior Tatum Sanders has been named the American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after leading the Tulsa women's soccer team to a shutout win over UAB and a draw against North Texas last week.

Sanders, a Tulsa native, was instrumental in both results for the Golden Hurricane. She recorded her first shutout of the season in Tulsa's 1-0 victory over UAB, stopping all four shots on goal and facing 10 total attempts from the Blazers. The senior followed up that performance with another strong outing against North Texas, tallying five saves on 23 shots faced to help Tulsa secure a 1-1 tie on the road.

The nine total saves across last week's matches bring her season total to 66, while her goals-against average has improved to 1.66. Sanders is also nearing a career milestone, sitting just five saves away from breaking the program record for career saves at Tulsa.

This marks Sanders' first conference weekly honor of the 2025 season and her second overall conference Goalkeeper of the Week award.

Sanders and the Golden Hurricane will return home on Sunday, Oct. 19, to take on UTSA at 1 p.m. at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
