HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Tulsa women's golf team sits in seventh place after carding a 22-over par 302 in the opening round of the OU Intercollegiate, which was halted by darkness on Monday evening. The Golden Hurricane completed their first round, though several teams were unable to finish before play was suspended.

Due to inclement weather throughout the day, the tournament has been shortened to a 36-hole event. The leaderboard can be seen by clicking here.

Despite multiple weather delays, sophomore Romaine Masserey led the way for Tulsa with a three-over par 73, placing her in a tie for 16th with a few golfers still completing their rounds.

Jenni Roller and Samantha Olson each shot six-over par 76 to sit tied for 32nd place, while Jeanne Paginer finished with a seven-over par 77, tying her for 39th. Allyn Stephens rounded out the TU lineup with a 16-over par 86.

Competing as an individual, Hanna Robinett carded an 11-over par 81 in the first round.

Tulsa returns to action on Tuesday, when they play the final round of the OU Intercollegiate at Prairie Dunes Country Club. Play will start at 8:30 a.m. CT.
