Golden Hurricane in Eighth after Day Two of PDI Intercollegiate

ORLANDO, Fla. –– The University of Tulsa women's golfers slipped to eighth heading into the final day of the PDI Intercollegiate at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando.
The start of round two was delayed due to fog. With expected foggy conditions on Tuesday morning, many golfers started on round three to have fewer holes tomorrow.
The Golden Hurricane carded a 1-under par 287 in round two to move to -7 for the collegiate. The Hurricane is even early into the final round of the week.
Baylor created some distance and is now -26 for the PDI after shooting 14-under, 274 in the second round and is a stroke under par in the third round. North Carolina and Duke are both 18 shots under par in a tie for second, Mississippi State is 17-under par and UCF and Kansas are tied for fifth at 15-under par.
Individually, Sydney Seigel is in a tie for fifth at 7-under par and has played three holes into her final round. The senior shot an impressive 4-under par 68 in round two to get to 9-under for the tournament. She collected five birdies, including three on the front nine, with only one bogey blemishing the scorecard. Seigel got through three holes of her third round, collecting two pars but recording a double bogey on two that set her back.
Allyn Stephens followed her 70 on day one with another 70 to move to 4-under par for the week. She bogeyed hole one of her third round and will start day three in a tie for 23rd at 3-under par.
Lovisa Gunnar moved up 11 spots into a tie for 33rd and is 1-under for the tournament. She carded another even round of 72 in round two, collecting four birdies, a pair of bogeys and a double bogey. Gunnar moved under par with a birdie on hole three of the third round, her final hole of the day.
Romaine Masserey carded a 77 (+5) in round two and was even through the first three holes of her final round. She'll start Tuesday on hole four and at +6 for the collegiate in a tie for 75th. Hanna Robinett shot a seven-over par 79 for the second straight round to get to +14 for the collegiate and is in a tie for 91st. She got the furthest into round three of the Tulsa golfers, recording a par on the first six holes.
The final round will begin with a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start. Robinett will be the first TU player off the tees at approximately 8:15.
