ORLANDO, Fla. –– The University of Tulsa women's golfers slipped to eighth heading into the final day of the PDI Intercollegiate at the Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando.

The start of round two was delayed due to fog. With expected foggy conditions on Tuesday morning, many golfers started on round three to have fewer holes tomorrow.

The Golden Hurricane carded a 1-under par 287 in round two to move to -7 for the collegiate. The Hurricane is even early into the final round of the week.

Baylor created some distance and is now -26 for the PDI after shooting 14-under, 274 in the second round and is a stroke under par in the third round. North Carolina and Duke are both 18 shots under par in a tie for second, Mississippi State is 17-under par and UCF and Kansas are tied for fifth at 15-under par.

Individually, Sydney Seigel is in a tie for fifth at 7-under par and has played three holes into her final round. The senior shot an impressive 4-under par 68 in round two to get to 9-under for the tournament. She collected five birdies, including three on the front nine, with only one bogey blemishing the scorecard. Seigel got through three holes of her third round, collecting two pars but recording a double bogey on two that set her back.
