INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Tulsa Women's Golf program will be in the NCAA Championship field. The Golden Hurricane earned an automatic berth by winning the American Conference Championship. TU will participate in the NCAA Norman Regional from May 5-7.

The NCAA Norman Regional will be held at Jamie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma. It will be Tulsa's 21st regional appearance since the regional format began in 1993 and the fourth time in the last five years.

A total of 72 teams will compete at six regional sites, competing to advance to the NCAA Finals, May 16-21, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

Tulsa will participate in the Norman Regional, which also includes Stanford (No. 1), Northwestern (No. 12), North Carolina (No. 13), Michigan State (No. 24), Duke (No. 25), Oklahoma, Baylor, Oregon State, Denver, Furman and Southern Miss.

Thirty teams will advance to the championship in Carlsbad — five from each of the six regional sites. A total of 156 players will advance to the championship, with the top five teams and top individual (not on an advancing team) advancing from each regional.

The Golden Hurricane came into the NCAA Norman Regional after winning the American Conference Championship by 21 strokes. TU has been playing its best golf at the end of the season, with three top-five finishes over its last three events.

The 21-stroke margin of victory at the American Athletic Conference Championship was the largest by a current member school.

Tulsa's win at the American Athletic Conference Championship was its first conference title since 2021. Romaine Masserey became the first player in TU history to win the AAC individual championship. The Golden Hurricane played four golfers in the top 10 at the AAC Championship.

Tulsa has won two regional titles, both in the central region, in back-to-back seasons of 2001 and 2002. The Hurricane has also captured four national championships, including the 1980 AIAW, 1982 AIAW, 1982 NCAA, and 1988 NCAA Championships.
