TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Head Coach Angie Nelp and her recruitment staff have finalized the Golden Hurricane women's basketball roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Tulsa welcomes nine new student-athletes to the Golden Hurricane Basketball family. The bulk of the spring signing class is composed of seven incoming transfers, including JUCO standouts Layla-J Cameron and Laura Di Stefano, North Texas guard Shamaryah Duncan, Virginia forward RyLee Grays, Northeastern guard Abby Jegede, Memphis forward Hannah Riddick and Siena guard Teresa Seppala.

Two true freshmen are featured in this year's spring signing class, including Gina Nikola Pirjak (Jezera, Croatia) and Dora Toman (Budapest, Hungary). The pair joins National Signing Day (Nov. 13) additions Haven Fisher, Josie Megehee and Alisha Peavy as the incoming freshman class.

"We're incredibly excited about this group," said Nelp. "It's a class that blends high-level experience with young, dynamic talent, and every one of them aligns with the competitive, team-first culture we have here at TU. With several international players who have competed at the national level, this group brings a unique perspective and passion for the game that we believe will elevate our program right away."

Cameron, a 6'0" junior from Gold Coast, Australia, was a two-year starter at Dodge City Community College, where she averaged 12.3 points (888), 4.7 rebounds (341), 3.1 assists (221) and 1.5 steals (108) across 72 games played. Cameron helped the Conquistadors become regional champs for the first time in program history, and she finished her final year with the Conqs in the NJCAA Championship Final Four as a Second Team All-American and First Team All-Conference choice. She also picked up Second Team All-Conference honors as a freshman.

A 6'2" junior from Rome, Italy, Di Stefano was a two-year starter for Salt Lake Community College. In 54 games, she shot 46.9% from the field and 33.3% from deep and averaged 6.9 points (371) and 3.6 rebounds (195) in 17.7 minutes per game, helping the Bruins secure 22 wins as a freshman and 21 victories as a sophomore. She was a key contributor in SLCC's Region 18 championship title run last season, which sent the Bruins to the NJCAA Championship Tournament.

Coming to the 918 from Waco, Texas, as a 5'11" redshirt senior, Shamaryah Duncan has five years of experience in the American Athletic Conference and one year of eligibility remaining after competing for Wichita State and North Texas. In her career, she has averaged 5.3 points (511), 2.4 rebounds (237) and 1.2 assists (113) in 68 starts across 97 total games played.

Before sitting out her final season at North Texas last year for a medical decision, Duncan was a 32-game starter for the Mean Green in 2023-24, scoring 5.8 points per contest and bringing down a career-best 2.9 rebounds per game to help UNT earn a share of The American Regular Season Championship. She also took home AAC All-Academic Team honors. Prior to her time with the Mean Green, Duncan was a three-year letterwinner at Wichita State, averaging 5.0 points and 2.2 boards across 65 games played for the Shockers from the 2020-21 COVID season through the 2022-23 campaign.

Grays, a 6'4" junior from Pearland, Texas, who has two years of eligibility remaining, spent the 2024-25 season with Virginia. As a Cavalier, she made one start in 23 games played, averaging 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 points in 11.7 minutes per contest. She came off the bench for five games for North Carolina as a true freshman one year prior.

Originating from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Jegede is a 5'10" redshirt junior and has two years of eligibility remaining after spending two years at Villanova and last season at CAA program Northeastern. In 24 games as a Husky, she averaged 15.6 points (375), 4.4 rebounds (105) and 1.5 assists (35) in 34.9 minutes per outing. She landed double-figure points in all but five games and surpassed the 20-point mark seven times, peaking with 25 against Stony Brook (Jan. 3). Prior to Northeastern, Jegede played in 29 games for Villanova in 2023-24 after redshirting her freshman season.

Pirjak comes to Tulsa from Jezera, Croatia, becoming the first Croatian player in program history to don the Blue and Gold. The 5'7" incoming freshman was a three-year letterwinner at Dominis Private School and averaged 15.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and two steals per game throughout her career. She improved in every season, peaking with 16.1 points, 5.7 boards, 3.6 assists and 2.7 steals in her senior season.

Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Riddick comes to Tulsa with one year of eligibility after spending four seasons at Memphis. The 6'1" forward was poised for a strong senior season last year for the Tigers, averaging 14.3 points and 10.5 rebounds in three starts before sitting out the rest of the year with a medical redshirt. She was named an AAC Weekly Honorable Mention for her 26-point, 17-rebound performance against Mississippi Valley State, both career highs. Riddick finished her Memphis career with averages of 5.3 points (484) and 4.6 rebounds (415) and was a two-time AAC All-Academic Team selection off the court.

Seppala, a 6'0" senior from Tampere, Finland, comes to TU with one year of eligibility after playing three full seasons for Siena. She earned career averages of 13.7 points (1,189), 6.4 boards (558) and 1.7 assists (145), while shooting 44.5% from the field, 37.8% from beyond the arc and 83.3% at the line in 74 starts across 87 games played. Seppala was a two-time First Team All-MAAC selection after garnering All-Rookie and Third Team All-Conference honors as a freshman. She's also an all-academic student-athlete off the court and will be the program's first student-athlete from Finland.

Toman joins the Golden Hurricane family as a 6'0" guard from Budapest, Hungary, making her the first Hungarian to join the TU women's basketball program. Toman has represented her home country in four national youth tournaments, including the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, where she averaged 6.3 points, 3.3 boards and 2.7 assists per game.

Toman most recently competed for the Sopron and Darazsak basketball clubs in Hungary. She averaged 7.3 points and shot 72.7% from the field in 23.5 minutes per game across six games played for Sopron. Then, she put up 10 points, 7.9 boards and 3.9 assists per contest in 26 minutes in each of her nine games played for Darazsak before signing with Tulsa.
