Masserey Represents Switzerland at the European Championship

TULSA, Okla. – Romaine Masserey proudly represented Team Switzerland at the 2025 European Ladies' Team Championship, held at Golf de Chantilly on the Vineuil Course this past week.
 
During the first two days of the event, the teams competed in stroke play format. Over 36 holes, Masserey recorded scores of one-over par 71 and two-over par 72. She finished tied for 29th place in stroke play, achieving the best score for a Swiss player. Team Switzerland ultimately placed 14th overall and advanced to Flight B for match play.
 
On the first day of match play, Team Switzerland faced Austria and secured a 3-2 victory. With the match tied at 2-2, Masserey clinched a one-up win, allowing the team to advance to the semifinals.
 
In the semifinals, however, Team Switzerland fell short against Belgium, who won the match 3.5-1.5. Masserey stood out in her match against Savannah De Bock, achieving an impressive 6 and 5 victory.
 
On the final day of the event, Switzerland bounced back with a 3-2 win over the Netherlands. Masserey continued her strong performance, defeating Britt Op Den Winkel with a commanding score of 7 and 6.
