TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa women's basketball program is pleased to announce their 12-game non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2025 season.

The Golden Hurricane plays six of its non-conference games at home in the Donald W. Reynolds Center, four in November and two in December. TU will be away for four true road games and two neutral site contests in The Bahamas. The Golden Hurricane essentially opens the season with five consecutive games within the City of Tulsa, one of which is the Mayor's Cup to be played at Oral Roberts in the Mabee Center.

"We're excited to officially share our schedule with our fans and community," Head Coach Angie Nelp said. "This year's slate gives our team opportunities to test ourselves against some of the best programs in the country. Every game will help prepare us for conference play, and I know our team is eager to compete and represent Tulsa with pride. We can't wait to see our supporters pack the stands and be part of the journey with us."

Five of TU's upcoming opponents participated in postseason play last season, including NCAA tournament teams Creighton and Oklahoma State, along with Oral Roberts, Missouri State and Florida, who all competed in the WBIT. Florida was a semifinalist for the WBIT.

TU's season begins with three consecutive home games in the Donald W. Reynolds Center, starting with New Orleans on Nov. 5. Tulsa beat the Privateers by 25 points in the Golden Hurricane's home opener two years ago in 2023. Then, Tulsa will welcome Prairie View A&M (Nov. 9) for the first time since 2022 and will play Houston Christian (Nov. 13) for the first time.

Monday, November 17, marks the 48th Mayor's Cup game between Tulsa and Oral Roberts. This year's contest will be played in South Tulsa at ORU's Mabee Center. The Golden Eagles have won the last two matchups, but TU had won the cup in the previous four meetings.

Afterwards, Tulsa will close out a home-and-home series with Missouri State on November 22, who narrowly escaped Tulsa 63-61 in Springfield last year, before taking off for The Bahamas to compete against Kent State and the winner of Houston-Arkansas State at the 2025 Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship over Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 28-30).

December begins with Tulsa's second SWAC matchup in Mississippi Valley State (Dec. 4) at home before heading to Omaha, Neb., to finish a home-and-home series with Creighton. The Bluejays won last year's meeting in Tulsa and were first-round exits in the NCAA Tournament.

On Monday, December 15, the Golden Hurricane will hit the Cimarron Turnkpike to Stillwater, Okla., where Tulsa will face the Oklahoma State Cowgirls for a long-awaited in-state showdown. It'll be the first matchup between the two programs since December 13, 2020, when TU took down OSU 69-62 in Stillwater.

Tulsa's final home game of the non-conference season will be played against one more SWAC conference program in Arkansas-Pine Bluff on December 18 before wrapping up a home-and-home series against Florida in Gainesville, Fla. on December 21.

The American Conference schedule will be announced closer to the start of the season.
