Men's Tennis Falls in ITA All-American Championships Main Draw Matchups

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa opened play in the main draw of the 2025 ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday, battling through tough matchups in both singles and doubles competition.
In singles, Takeshi Taco went up against Ohio State's Alexander Bernard. Taco held close in the opening set before Bernard pulled away, taking the match 6-4, 6-3, 6-0.
The Golden Hurricane also faced strong competition in doubles play. Taco teamed up with Nikita Volonski to challenge the tournament's No. 1 seed duo of Benito Sanchez Martinez and Petar Jovanovic from Mississippi State. The Bulldog pair lived up to their top billing, defeating Tulsa 6-3, 6-2. Also competing in doubles, Timothy Carlsson Seger and Victor Tosetto pushed their opening set to a tiebreak against Princeton before ultimately falling 7(7)-6(1), 6-4.
Next up, Taco will compete in consolation singles, where he'll look to make a run and keep his bid for the NCAA Individual Championships alive.
