Women’s Golf Heads to Annika More Than Golf Invitational

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Golden Hurricane women's golf team heads to Atkin, South Carolina as they participate in the Annika More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America. This event will take place at Old Barnwell Golf Club.
The tournament mission is to provide a high-quality golf and life/career development experience for select mid-major conference champions from around the country. This event is intended to provide a broader experience beyond just golf -- it is intended to be a "More Than Golf" experience.
The tournament will feature 18 holes on Sunday through Tuesday.
The last time the team took the course was last Monday and Tuesday at the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate. The Golden Hurricane took third place at the event. TU closed the tournament with a round of nine-over par 297.
Samantha Olson led the team as she earned her second straight top five finish. She finished the event five-over par 221 for the event. Jenni Roller closed the tournament with a round of two-over par 74 in the final round. She earned her fifth top 20 finish of the season.
Following the Annika More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of American, Tulsa heads to Palos Verdes Estates, Calif. to participate in the GameAbove Sports Invitational. This event will run March 9-10 at Rolling Hills Country Club.
THE COURSE
Old Barnwell offers a warm, welcoming, secluded retreat on 575 acres of rolling hills, sandy soil, and soaring pines. From striking terrain, expert course design, and inviting clubhouse and lodge, to a novel approach to a building community of members, Old Barnwell nurtures a sense of belonging that honors the game – and all who love it.
The course is par 73 at 6,265 yards.

Tulsa is one of 11 teams competing at the More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America. Joining the Golden Hurricane are Fairleigh Dickinson, Oakland, Augusta, Alabama State, Denver, Richmond, Radford, Columbia, Morehead State, Illinois State and Southern Miss.

Competing for Tulsa in the event are Samantha Olson, Jenni Roller, Allyn Stephens, Romaine Masserey, and Zoe Shamy.
TEE TIMES
Play will begin on Sunday with play coming off holes 1 and 10. Tulsa will be paired with Richmond, and Southern Miss and begin play at 10:20 a.m. CT starting on hole 10. Zoe Shamy will lead off TU at 10:20. Romaine Masserey (10:30 a.m.), Allyn Stephens (10:40 a.m.), Jenni Roller (10:50 a.m.) and Samantha Olson (11 a.m.) follow for the Golden Hurricane.
