Trio Named to All-Conference, All-Newcomer Team

IRVING, Texas — The trio of David Green, Miles Barnstable, and Tylen Riley were named to the American Conference All-Conference Team as well as the All-Newcomer Team the league announced on Tuesday. Green earned First Team honors while Barnstable and Riley were named to the league's Second Team.
Green was a force all season long for the Golden Hurricane, scoring a team-leading 16.5 points per game and is second on the team in rebounding at 4.6 per game. The graduate student joined the 500-point club on Sunday with a 22-point performance against Temple. Green is one of the best scorers in the country, averaging a league-leading 25.0 points per game over 40 minutes. He is second in the American Conference from the field at .510 while also shooting .405 from beyond the arc.
Barnstable was a consistent player for Tulsa, scoring in double figures a team-leading 29 times in 31 games and hit two or more three-pointers 27 times. The senior leads the American from beyond the three-point line at .420 percent and at the free throw line at .898. He currently ranks second on the team in scoring at 14.8 points per game while also grabbing 4.0 rebounds per contest.
Riley has taken over the point guard duties for Tulsa with some monster performances. The junior averaged 14.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and a team-high 4.3 assists in the regular season. Riley was also efficient from the field, shooting .493 while also finishing just behind Barnstable at the free throw line at .876 percent. Riley is fifth in the league in points per 40 minutes at 22.2 points per game.
Tulsa awaits it's quarterfinal opponent in the American Conference Championships on Friday.
