Golden Hurricane Begin Outdoor Slate at WashU Distance Carnival, ORU Invite

ST. LOUIS, Mo. and TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa track and field opens its outdoor season this week with a split schedule, competing at the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis and the ORU Invitational in Tulsa.

The WashU Distance Carnival spans two days at Francis Olympic Field, beginning Thursday evening and continuing through Friday. Tulsa will have 18 entries across five events, including the men's and women's 5,000-meter run, women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, and the men's and women's 1,500-meter run. All Golden Hurricane events are scheduled for Friday, March 27.

At the ORU Invitational, Tulsa athletes will compete in running events on Saturday, March 28, at the OneOk Sports Complex. The meet features a field that includes Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Missouri State, Rogers State, Northwest Arkansas Community College and host Oral Roberts.
