TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa track and field turned in a dominant all-around performance at the ORU Invitational, piling up event wins and etching marks into the program record book.

The Golden Hurricane women set the tone early with a victory in the 4x100 relay, as Cahsia Page, Alexis Cavin, Rylie Hancock and Isabella Famiglietti crossed in 47.36. On the distance side, Sara Morefield claimed the 1500-meter title in 4:35.09, leading five Tulsa finishers in the event, while Alexandra Johnson later added a runner-up finish in the 3000 meters (10:21.26).

Tulsa's sprint group delivered one of the strongest showings of the meet. Alexis Cavin placed second in the 100 meters with a time of 11.56, good for third in school history, before returning to win the 200 meters in 23.86, the sixth-fastest mark in program history. Annie-May Cannings captured the 400-meter title (55.66) and teamed with Cavin, Kamree Dye and Lianne Holtermann to win the 4x400 relay in 3:43.42. Holtermann also added an individual win in the 400-meter hurdles (1:00.23), while Jaylin VonWald finished second in the same event after placing fourth in the 100-meter hurdles.

On the men's side, Tulsa dominated the quarter-mile events. Evan Sanni-Thomas highlighted the meet with a school top-three performance in the 400 meters, winning in 46.78 to move to third all-time. He later added another victory in the 200 meters (21.16, seventh in school history) and ran the anchor leg of the winning 4x400 relay (3:15.17) alongside Colin Madison, Joseph Snyder and Harrison Stapleton. Madison also claimed gold in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 51.67, tying for third in program history.

The Hurricane continued to stack podium finishes across events, including a 1-2-3 sweep in the men's 400 meters and a 1-2 finish in the women's 400-meter hurdles. Zach Lewis added a runner-up finish in the 800 meters (1:53.35), while Ayden Taylor scored in both the 1500 and 800. In the field events, Isabella Famiglietti placed fourth in the long jump (5.28m), while Rylie Hancock took third in the triple jump (10.63m).

The Golden Hurricane will be back on the track in a week for the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., Apr. 3 and 4.
