It is the first time since 2009 that Tulsa has had three players with 8 or more homers in a single season since Brooke Smart, Lauren Lindsay, and Kailey Yarmer did so in 2009. • Golden Hurricane pitching is coming off a strong performance against East Carolina. Despite dropping the series, Tulsa pitchers pitched to a 2.33 ERA and struck out 17. Maura Moore outdueled the Pirates on Friday, allowing 1 ER in 10.0 innings. Brinly Maples followed that with 2 R in 7.0 innings on Saturday.
