Tulsa Women’s Hoops to Play in 2026 Cherokee Invitational

CHEROKEE, N.C. – The University of Tulsa women's basketball team has been invited by Insider Exposure to compete in the 2026 Cherokee Invitational on Dec. 20-21 at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, N.C.
Tulsa, Auburn, Middle Tennessee and South Florida will come together for two days of high-level competition. Action starts Sunday, Dec. 20 with TU taking on Middle Tennessee at 5:30 CT followed by Auburn vs. South Florida at 8:00. The Golden Hurricane will tip-off the following day at 3 p.m. against Auburn with South Florida and Middle Tennessee to follow at 5:30.
All four games will be available to stream nationally on Women's Sports Network.
"The Cherokee Invitational has grown into much more than a series of basketball games," said John McGraw, CEO of Insider Exposure. "It has become a destination event that brings together NCAA programs, elite high school teams, college coaches, fans and the Cherokee community. Auburn, Middle Tennessee, South Florida and Tulsa give us an outstanding college field, and we believe this year's event will be our biggest and best yet."
Tulsa is returning nine players from last season's squad, who finished 19-12 overall with 11 wins in American Conference play.
