Tulsa Women’s Basketball Announces 2026 Non-Conference Schedule

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa women's basketball program is thrilled to announce their 14-game non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

The Golden Hurricane play nine of their non-conference games at home in the Donald W. Reynolds Center -- five in November and four in December. TU will be away for five neutral site contests in Texas, Florida and North Carolina.

Three of TU's upcoming opponents played in postseason action last season, including March Madness selections Oklahoma State and Stephen F. Austin and WNIT participant Middle Tennessee.

One notable aspect of Tulsa's upcoming non-conference schedule are the amount of teams TU has never faced before. Tulsa will take on six opponents, including Incarnate Word, Rogers State, Central Michigan, Bowling Green, UT Martin and Auburn, for the very first time in program history.

TU's season begins with five consecutive home games in the Reynolds Center, starting with Incarnate Word on Nov. 3 and following up with Division II Rogers State on Nov. 7. Then, Tulsa will welcome Audi Crooks and the Oklahoma State Cowgirls on Thursday, Nov. 12. It'll be the first time TU's hosted OSU since fall 2019.

Tulsa will then wrap up the five-game opening home stand against Texas Southern on Nov. 15 and LSU New Orleans on Nov. 18.

The Golden Hurricane will be one of eight teams in the 2026 Hoopfest Women's Basketball Challenge. The showcase is scheduled for Nov. 22-25 in the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas, where Tulsa will face Stephen F. Austin on Nov. 22.

Wrapping up the November slate for TU will be the Florida Gulf Classic in Naples, Fla., during Thanksgiving week. Tulsa will open the event against Central Michigan on Nov. 27 and conclude it with a bout against Bowling Green on Nov. 28.

Tulsa begins December with four straight home games in the Reynolds Center, starting with Division II Oklahoma Baptist on Dec. 2.

Saturday, Dec. 5, marks the 49th Mayor's Cup game between Tulsa and Oral Roberts with this year's contest returning to 11th and Harvard. TU won last year's matchup in overtime, 78-69 and have won five of the last seven meetings against the Golden Eagles.

TU will follow up with one more marquee matchup in the Reynolds Center on Wednesday, Dec. 9, against SMU. It'll be the 53rd all-time meeting between the two teams who used to be conference rivals until the Mustangs departed for the ACC ahead of the 2024-25 season. Former Golden Hurricane Elise Hill holds a spot on the Mustangs' roster as a redshirt junior entering this season.

Tulsa's final home game of the non-conference season will be played against UT Martin of the Ohio Valley Conference on Sunday, Dec. 13.

Wrapping up the Golden Hurricane non-conference slate will be the Cherokee Invitational, hosted by Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, N.C. TU will tipoff the event against Middle Tennessee (Dec. 20) and face Auburn (Dec. 21) in the non-conference finale.

The American Conference schedule will be announced closer to the start of the season.
