Andrea Zamurri joined the Tulsa men’s tennis program in January 2026 as a graduate assistant coach.
Prior to Tulsa, Zamurri worked as an ATP tennis coach, where he developed individualized training programs to enhance players’ technique while also organizing and managing full-time ATP tournament schedules. Under his guidance, all of his players achieved career-high ATP rankings inside the top 1000.
Before transitioning into individual coaching, Zamurri served as a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater, Northwest Missouri State University, assisting with recruiting operations and player development for both the men’s and women’s tennis programs.
Zamurri earned his MBA in April 2024 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2023 from Northwest Missouri State. As a member of the tennis program, he was a three-time singles All-American, three-time Central Region Player of the Year, and a three-time Central Region First Team selection in both singles and doubles. He was named Central Region Freshman of the Year in 2021 and earned doubles All-America honors in 2020.
Zamurri helped lead his team to NCAA National Tournament appearances in 2021 and 2023, with Northwest Missouri State finishing each of the 2021, 2022, and 2023 seasons ranked in the top 20, including a No. 12 final ranking in 2023 and No. 14 in 2022. Individually, he reached the singles semifinals of the 2021 ITA National Tournament and finished that season ranked No. 3 in singles. He was also the 2019 ITA Central Regional Doubles Champion and concluded the 2020 season ranked ninth nationally in doubles.
