Adrena Mazzei
Adrena Mazzei became a student coach in the fall of 2020 following a four-year career with the Tulsa cross country and track & field teams.
 
Mazzei was a nine-time letterwinner as she earned four letters in cross country, three letters for indoor track and two letters during the outdoor season.
 
In cross country, Mazzei was a part of Tulsa’s championship team at the 2019 American Athletic Conference championship, finishing in 26th place. She was Tulsa’s top finisher in her first collegiate event, placing 16th at the 2016 Oklahoma State Duels. Mazzei also had Tulsa’s best finish at the 2017 Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational.
 
Mazzei had top-five performances in four American Athletic Conference championship events throughout her four-year track career. She placed fifth in the mile run at The American Indoor Championships as a freshman in 2017 and fifth at the 2017 outdoor championship in the 1,500-meter race.  As a junior, Mazzei was a part of the third-place distance medley relay team at the 2019 indoor championships and finished fourth in the 1,500m at the AAC’s outdoor event.
 
Mazzei is continuing to pursue her bachelor’s degree in exercise & sports science from The University of Tulsa.
