Brett Haden joined the Golden Hurricane women's basketball team as an assistant coach in May of 2026.
Haden spent the last two seasons at Texas (2024-26) as a graduate assistant, helping the Longhorns win the 2026 SEC Championship and reach the NCAA Final Four in back-to-back seasons. He led daily player development sessions outside of practice, broke down opponent personnel and offensive and defensive actions for scouting reports, ran player film sessions on game days and assisted with recruiting evaluations.
He also served as an equipment manager during his time with the Longhorns, beginning in 2020 as a freshman.
Haden completed all his postsecondary education at Texas, earning a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology and health in 2024 and a Master of Arts in strategic communications in 2026.
