Courtnie Lewis is in her second year at The University of Tulsa as the coordinator of recruiting operations.

Lewis was a four-year letterwinner at Eastern Michigan University. She started in 75 of 116 games and averaged 10.4 points (1,207) and 3.4 rebounds (397) in 24.3 minutes per game in her career. She shot 38.5-perent from the field, 34.5-percent from behind the arc and 74.7-percent from the free throw line. Lewis was a Mid-American Conference all-league third-team selection and earned all-freshmen team honors during the 2017-18 campaign.

Lewis was selected to participate in the So You Want to be a Coach program in 2022, as well as the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in 2021. While at EMU, she worked with the Student-Athlete Support Services office, served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was an EMU women’s basketball summer camp counselor.

Lewis earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from Eastern Michigan in 2020 and her master’s degree in sport management in 2022, also from EMU.
