Macey Ford is in her second year with the Golden Hurricane as the director of operations for the women’s basketball program, joining the team prior to the 2021-22 season.

Ford came to Tulsa after serving two years (2019-21) as a graduate assistant for campus and community involvement with the University of Louisville women’s basketball team. Ford served as a liaison between visiting teams and arena staff, arranged for visiting team practice times, coordinated team meals during travel and helped develop travel itineraries.

Ford was a four-year letterwinner at Transylvania University. She played in 102 games, served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a Transylvania First Engagements Program member. She was also active in the Tri Kappa Service Sorority, volunteered for the Special Olympics and worked with the Transylvania University basketball camps.

Ford earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Transylvania University in 2019 and her master’s degree in sports administration from Louisville in 2021.
