Mariah Turner was named as the Director of Operations prior to the 2020-21 season.

Turner previously spent past two years (2018-20) as an intern for the Big Ten Conference with the football and basketball championship operations department.  She was responsible for equipment, shipments, signage, halftime entertainment contracts and booking, as well as implementing strategies of the Big Ten’s S.C.O.R.E. community outreach program.
 
Turner also served as a Women’s Basketball Coaches Association logistics intern (2017-18), Atlanta Falcons training camp logistics intern for two summers (2017-18), University of Oklahoma football game day assistant (2017) and University of Oklahoma event management graduate assistant (2016-17). 
 
A four-year letterwinner and two-year starter at TU, Turner earned playing time in 120 games and had 54 starts, and career averages of 7.7 points (937) and 4.5 rebounds (548).  She had three double-doubles, 47 double-figure scoring games and three double-digit rebounding contests.  Turner concluded her career ranked second on Tulsa’s career top-10 list with a .548 field goal percentage, fourth in games played, eighth in rebounds, and ninth in free throws made (218) and field goals made (358).
 
Turner earned her bachelor’s degree in organizational studies from Tulsa in 2015, and her master’s degree in intercollegiate athletics administration from the University of Oklahoma in 2017.
