Addison Richards returned to her alma mater as a graduate assistant coach for women’s basketball in August 2024.
 
Richards was a four-year letterwinner for the Tulsa women’s basketball team from 2016-20. She returns to the Golden Hurricane following three years playing professional basketball internationally. Richards spent her first two seasons (2020-22) with the Saarlouis Royals in Germany and her final year playing summer ball with the Adelitas de Chihuahua in Mexico and the final four months of 2023 with Montana BC of Bulgaria.
 
Richards spent her off-seasons as a basketball skills trainer for Elev8Hoops in Tulsa, helping develop basketball skills of young aspiring players.
 
At Tulsa, Richards played in 104 career games with 22 starts. She totaled 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds while averaging 14.3 minutes of playing time. Richards scored 8.0 points and pulled down 2.9 rebounds in a starting role during her senior season. She netted career-highs of 26 points and 13 rebounds against SMU for her first career double-double.
 
A native of Bixby, Oklahoma, Richards earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise sports science with a minor in psychology in May 2020.
