Carter Pline came to The University of Tulsa as a graduate assistant coach for women’s basketball in August 2024.
 
A 2024 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio), Pline averaged 5.7 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting .533 from the field in his playing career with the Cougar basketball team. As a senior, he averaged 7.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in 20.0 minutes as a starter.
 
In his final semester at Mount Vernon, Pline was a peer counselor, where he aided in both the design and implementation of a targeted program concentrating on the health and well-being of students campus wide.
 
Since 2023, Pline also served as an athletic performance coach for Stability Enhancements Systems, helping tailor strength training programs for athletes.
 
Pline received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science and psychology in May 2024.
