Grant Spencer

Grant Spencer was named Director of Creative Media for Football in April 2026, bringing a wealth of experience in digital storytelling and brand development.
Spencer returns to Tulsa after previously serving two years in the same role, providing continuity and a deep understanding of the Golden Hurricane brand.
Prior to joining Tulsa for the first time, he spent four months as the Digital Media Coordinator for Athletics at Texas A&M–Corpus Christi, where he led content creation and digital engagement efforts.
Spencer developed his foundation at the University of Central Oklahoma, earning a degree in Strategic Communications while contributing extensively to the athletic department’s creative team.
He began as a Creative Media Intern during the 2019–20 academic year and was elevated to a full-time Creative Media Specialist role in August 2020, serving in that position for 16 months.
Spencer earned his bachelor’s degree from UCO in December 2021.
