Tulsa Sends Eight to NCAA West First Rounds

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Tulsa track and field will send eight athletes to the NCAA West First Rounds, hosted by Arkansas from May 27-30.
The Golden Hurricane will have seven men competing on Wednesday and Friday, while Tulsa's two women's qualifiers are set to race on Saturday. The meet will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The top 12 finishers in each event will advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, from June 10-13. Tulsa's top seed entering the meet is Sara Morefield, who is ranked seventh in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Wednesday's schedule has been adjusted due to forecasted weather, with track events being pushed up into the afternoon.
