Justin Taphorn is in his second season as a graduate assistant with Golden Hurricane men’s basketball team.
He attended the University of Wisconsin, where he was a three-year walk-on member of the men’s basketball squad. He appeared in 16 career games for the Badgers. Taphorn chose to spend his senior season as an undergraduate assistant with the team.
He graduated in May 2024 with a degree in kinesiology and a certificate in athletic healthcare. He is studying sports leadership at the University of Tulsa.
