Tulsa track and field senior Grey Howard has remained a mainstay in the American Athletic Conference middle-distance scene, primarily running the 800 meters while donning TU blue. The Edmond, Oklahoma, native earned his first AAC gold at the American Outdoor Championships this past weekend, running a time of 1:50.51 to cross the line first. After taking silver just a season ago, Howard rebounded to capture Tulsa’s first 800-meter conference title since 2015, with teammate Robert Tully right behind for bronze.
