A senior rower from Oak Ridge, Tenn., Sam Barber is a four-year letterwinner who has participated in 34 regattas so far in her career. Barber was named to the American Athletic Conference all-conference second team and Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I All-Conference Team as a junior, while coxing the Varsity 8+ to The American Boat of the Year honors. She led the Varsity 8+ to a silver medal finish at the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championship, as well as the 2nd Varsity 8+ to a second-place mark in 2017 and the 3rd Varsity 8+ to a second-place mark in 2016.
