With the back-to-back victories, Tulsa (16-4) extended its win streak to a school record nine straight. The Hurricane also broke the previous mark for most wins in a single season of 15. The victory over Oral Roberts gave Tulsa its 16th win of the season.
Individually, TU freshman Aleksandra Durska broke several school records. Her two singles wins gave her 23 for the season, the most-ever by a Tulsa freshman. She broke junior Jennifer DeSpain's mark of 22 she set as a freshman during the 1997-98 campaign. Durska also won her 16th straight singles match, breaking former Hurricane All-American Anousjka van Exel's (1997-99) mark of 15 straight she won during the 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons.
Tulsa improved to 5-0 at home this season.
