Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa sophomore Derek Meyers and senior Eric Dominguez each tallied a first half goal to propel the Hurricane to a 2-1 victory at the UNLV Coors Classic at Peter Johann Field in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Meyers broke the scoreless tie with his first goal of the season at the 20:23 minute mark. Senior Robbie Aristodemo was credited with the assist on Meyers' goal. Less than four minutes later, Dominguez gave TU a 2-0 advantage when he recorded an unassisted goal at 24:20.
Aristodemo's assist on Meyer's goal was the 20th of his career which ties him with former Hurricane standout David Gordon (1989-92) for sixth place among Tulsa's all-time assists leaders.
