Tulsa's Prammanasudh Wins Individual Title at Big 12 Invitational

Tulsa senior Stacy Prammanasudh captures her seventh career tournament title with a 10-stroke victory at the Big 12 Invitational.

Stillwater, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa three-time first-team All-American Stacy Prammanasudh captured medallist honors at the Big 12 Invitational on Tuesday with a three-under par 213 on the Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

The victory was Prammanasudh's seventh career tournament win and her second straight finish among the top-3 overall golfers in Tulsa's two tournaments this year. Prammanasudh carded a final round two-under par 70 on Tuesday to go with rounds of 71-72 from Monday. She outdistanced herself by 10 strokes from second-place finisher Christi Cano of Oklahoma State.

As a team, the Hurricane scored a final round 316, which tied for the second-best round of the day, and finished with 929 total for the 54-hole tournament. Host Oklahoma State captured first place with a 908 score, while Ohio State and Northwestern finished in second and third-place, respectively.

In addition to Prammanasudh, Tulsa sophomore Suzie Fisher claimed 10th place with a 13-over par 229 total after a round of 78 on Tuesday. Senior Dani Mallon carded a round of 77 to finish in 25th place with a 236 total. Junior Maiko Senda placed 58th overall, and sophomore Julie Tvede finished in 74th place.

Tulsa is back in action, October 19-21, at the Stanford Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, California.
