Volleyball Team to Host Boise State in WAC Home Opener

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa volleyball squad will return to the friendly confines of the Donald W. Reynolds Center for three home matches this week, including a pair of Western Athletic Conference contests.
The Hurricane will host Boise State on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. BSU is a first-year member of the WAC in the West division. The Broncos enter the week with a record of 0-12 and 0-4 in WAC action. It will also be the first meeting between Boise State and TU.
The 12th ranked Wahine of Hawai'i travel to Tulsa on Saturday for a 7 p.m., WAC match. Hawai'i owns a 6-0 advantage in the series with Tulsa. UH is 6-4 on the season and 1-0 in WAC play.
TU will conclude the week with a Sunday matinee against UMKC at 3 p.m. The series between TU and the Kangaroos is knotted at 7-7, with UMKC winning the last two meetings. The TU-UMKC match can be seen live on Cox Cable-Channel 9.
