Tulsa Women Golfers in Ninth Place at Arizona Invitational

Tucson, Arizona - The Tulsa women golfers completed the second round at the Arizona Invitational with an 11-stroke improvement from the first 18 holes.
Tulsa scored a 12-over par 300 to move up one slot from 10th to ninth-place at the par-72 Raven Course at Sabino Springs. The Hurricane have a two-round total of 611.
Host Arizona extended its one-shot lead over Duke by scoring a two-over par 290 for a 36-hole total of 583. The Wildcats enter the final round on Wednesday with a four-stroke lead over the second-place Blue Devils. Rounding out the top-10 is Texas (592), Southern California (594), Stanford (599), New Mexico State (602), Arizona State (608), Pepperdine (609), Tulsa (611) and Washington (612).
Individually for the Hurricane, sophomore Maiko Senda turned in her best round of the season with a one-under par 71 and moved into 16th place with a 36-hole total of 150. Senda began the day in 53rd place. Freshman Suzie Fisher scored an even-par 72 and jumped from 58th place to 29th with an eight-over par 152 total.
Junior All-American Stacy Prammanasudh did not have a good day, carding only her second round in the 80s this season with an 81. She is in a 46th place tie with freshman teammate Julie Tvede at 155. Junior Dani Mallon scored an 80 today for a 160 total.
Duke's Candy Hanneman carded a round of 69 today to move into first-place with a three-stroke lead over Arizona's Lorena Ochoa.
The tournament will conclude on Wednesday with the final 18 holes.
