Tulsa, Okla. - Buzz Peterson has resigned his position as head basketball coach at The University of Tulsa today after one season at the coaching helm, announced TU's Director of Athletics Judy MacLeod.
Peterson guided the Golden Hurricane to the NIT Championship and an overall 26-11 record. Tulsa posted a 10-6 mark in the Western Athletic Conference and finished in second-place in the league race.
