Tulsa Women's Tennis Team to Host LSU This Wednesday

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa's 54th-ranked women's tennis team will host the 33rd-ranked LSU Tigers in a non-conference dual match at 1:30 p.m. this Wednesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center at The University of Tulsa. There is no charge for admission.

Tulsa is 9-4 overall and 7-0 at home during the spring 2002 campaign. The Hurricane has won its last two outings, a pair of 6-1 victories over Arkansas-Little Rock and Central Florida, and will look for its third straight against LSU. TU junior Aleksandra Durska leads the Hurricane in singles with a 22-8 overall and 10-3 dual mark, while the twin-sister combination of Gabriela and Johanna Zingman lead TU's doubles effort with a 14-4 overall and 10-1 dual record.

LSU is 7-6 overall this season and has suffered back-to-back losses in its last two outings, including a 6-1 setback to 11th-ranked Tennessee and a 7-0 loss to top-ranked Georgia. The Tigers defeated the Golden Hurricane in Baton Rouge, La., a year ago, 4-1.
