Aleksandra Durska netted the only point for Tulsa as she overcame Carson, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 singles position.

Tulsa, Okla. - The 41st-ranked Tulsa women's tennis team fell 6-1 to conference foe SMU on Saturday afternoon at the Haggar Tennis Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

Tulsa's 54th-ranked doubles tandem, Alicia Pillay and Aleksandra Durska, fell to SMU's Nadia Vaughan and Kit Carson, 9-7, in the No. 1 doubles position, while Zoe Buhagiar and Daniela Muscolino fell in the No. 3 slot. Mariana Barrios and Tiffany Smith, on the other hand, posted a TU victory in the No. 2 position, but the Golden Hurricane lost the doubles point.

In singles action, Durska netted the only point for Tulsa as she overcame Carson, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 singles position. Muscolino and Donata Majauskaite pushed for Golden Hurricane victories, but fell, 6-3, 5-7, 10-5 and 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, respectively.
