Volleyball Opens Season at Dayton Flyer Classic

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa volleyball squad will kickoff its 2003 campaign with a trip to Dayton, Ohio, for a trio of matches in the Dayton Flyer Classic Aug. 29-30.
Tulsa will take on Dayton in the featured match on Friday evening at 6 p.m. On Saturday, TU faces Towson at 12 p.m., before closing out the tournament against Stony Brook at 4 p.m. This will mark the first meetings between TU and all three schools.
With three consecutive victories to end the 2002 season, the Golden Hurricane will look to extend that streak in the 2003 season. Last year marked the first time in school history that a TU volleyball team ended the season with three wins.
