Tulsa Women Golfers Place Sixth at The Landfall Tradition

Wilmington, NC - The Tulsa women's golf team finished in sixth-place in the 12-team field at The Landfall Tradition. The Hurricane carded a three-round total of 891 at the par-72 Country Club of Landfall Jack Nicklaus Course.

The Hurricane had its best round of the tournament and the fourth-best round of the day with its seven-over par 295 score on Sunday.

New Mexico claimed the team title with an 878 total, followed by host UNC-Wilmington (881), Tulane and Ohio State (883) and Tennessee (884) rounding out the top-five teams.

Tulsa senior Lee-Anne Pace led the Hurricane with a final round score of three-under par 69. She finished in fifth-place overall with a one-under par 215 score, claiming her second top-5 finish for the Hurricane since transferring to Tulsa last spring. Freshman Leisl Hasbrouck finished in 25th place with a 225 total after carding a final round 78. Fellow freshman Michaela Cavener turned in a 76 today for a total of 226 and a 28th place performance.

Junior Cas Bridge had the second-best round of the day for the Hurricane with an even-par 72, and finished in 32nd place with a 227 total. Freshman Polly Travica placed 46th with a 235 total after today's round of 79.

Individually, Vanderbilt's Chris Brady captured medalist honors with a 209 total.

Tulsa's fall campaign has now concluded. The Hurricane will open the spring season at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, Feb. 21-23.
