Golden Hurricane Renews Cross Town Rivalry with ORU

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa and Oral Roberts University will renew a series that dates back to the 1976 season, TU's first as volleyball program. Two squads have not faced of since the 1998 campaign, as the Golden Eagles have won 54 of the 63 contests. The 7 p.m. match on Tuesday, Nov. 23, will be the first time the series has been played in the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The match will also be the season finale for both squads.
The Golden Hurricane is coming off a first round loss at the Western Athletic Conference Tournament, while the Golden Eagles advanced to the Mid-Continent Conference championship match.
