Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa's 55th-ranked women's tennis team defeated Texas Tech, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon in the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on The University of Tulsa campus.
 Timberly Greenly chalked up a, 2-6, 6-0, 6-0, comeback victory over Katja Kovacic in the No. 5 position, clinching the dual for the Golden Hurricane.  |

In singles action, Delport netted a quick, 6-2, 6-1, win over Hristiyana Gocheva in the No. 6 slot, while Pereira recorded a 6-2, 6-1 mark in the No. 4 position. Tulsa's 75th-ranked Muscolino fell, 6-4, 6-0, in the No. 1 slot.
Timberly Greenly chalked up a, 2-6, 6-0, 6-0, comeback victory over Kovacic in the No. 5 position, clinching the dual for the Golden Hurricane. TU's 86th-ranked Somers earned a 7-6, 6-2 win in the No. 2 slot, but Donata Majauskaite couldn't pull out a victory in the No. 3 position, dropping a 5-7, 7-6, 10-7 decision.
