Tulsa Women's Tennis Team Hosts Houston This Wednesday

The Golden Hurricane will look for its seventh victory against an unranked opponent this season as it takes on the Cougars.

Tulsa, Okla. - TU's 55th-ranked women's tennis team will host Houston on Wednesday, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on The University of Tulsa campus. There is no charge for admission.

The Golden Hurricane, led by 75th-ranked Daniela Muscolino, 86th-ranked Ilona Somers, and 47th-ranked doubles tandem of Muscolino and Somers, will look for its seventh victory against an unranked opponent this season as it takes on the Cougars. TU boasts a 10-6 mark this year.

Houston owns an 8-8 dual record, falling to five ranked opponents, but the Cougars tallied a 5-2 victory over 63rd-ranked Rice on March 26th.

Tulsa recorded a 6-0 win against Houston on March 26, 2003 in Houston, Texas.
