Volleyball Match Cancelled for Tuesday

Senior Dana Weddle and the Golden Hurricane will close out the home schedule on Friday and Sunday against Houston and Rice, respectively.

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa's volleyball match this afternoon has been cancelled. The match was supposed to be played at 1 p.m. in the Donald W. Reynolds Center, against Southern Miss. However, flight delays and travel problems have made it impossible for USM to make the trip. The match, originally, was to take place on Sept. 23, but had to be re-scheduled for today because of Hurricane Katrina.

TU is still scheduled to conclude its home season with a pair of Conference USA matches this weekend. Tulsa is to host Houston on Friday night at 7 p.m. The Rice Owls are supposed to be in town on Sunday afternoon for a 2 p.m. match.
