Muscolino Named WAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

Denver, Colo. - The University of Tulsa junior Daniela Muscolino was awarded the Western Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week honor for the week of February 21. This is Muscolino's first honor this season and fifth in the last three seasons.
Muscolino, a native or Buenos Aires, Argentina, won all three of her singles matches last week, including a 6-3, 6-4 victory over No. 112 Maria Ivanov of Tulane. Muscolino also defeated Irina Lykina, Oklahoma, 6-2, 6-0 and Amanda Mang, LSU, 6-4, 6-7, 13-10. She went 2-1 in doubles last week, including an upset of No. 49 Ivanov/Ivanov, Tulane, 8-3
Muscolino has 61 career singles wins, giving her sole possession of eighth place on the school's all-time list. She needs one more win to tie for seventh place.
