Tulsa Tennis Teams to Conclude Regular Season on Tuesday

The Golden Hurricane women have registered a 12-11 overall mark and own a 12-3 record in the friendly confines of the Case Tennis Center this season.

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's and women's tennis teams will conclude the 2006 regular season on Tuesday, April 18th at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the TU campus. The 40th-ranked men's team will host 55th-ranked Oklahoma, as the TU women take on Oral Roberts. Both matches will begin at 5:00 p.m. There is no charge for admission.

The Golden Hurricane men have tallied a 13-10 mark this season, including a 9-4 record at home. Tulsa's 10th-ranked Arnau Brugues, 102nd-ranked Ricardo Soriano and 112th-ranked Federico Soriano will lead TU against the Sooners (14-9) and 95th-ranked Marek Velicka. OU captured a 6-1 victory in the last meeting on April 6, 2005.

The Golden Hurricane women have registered a 12-11 overall mark and own a 12-3 record in the friendly confines of the Case Tennis Center this season. TU captured a 7-0 win over the Golden Eagles on February 4th of this year.
