TU Women's Tennis Team Crushes Oral Roberts, 7-0

The University of Tulsa women's tennis team crushed cross-town rival Oral Roberts, 7-0, on Tuesday night at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the TU campus. The Golden Hurricane concluded the regular season with a 13-11 mark.Tulsa senior Daniela Muscolino captured a 7-5, 6-0 victory over Emily Arkell in the No. 1 position, as junior Santie Delport registered a 6-2, 6-0 win in the No. 2 slot. Senior Tiffany Smith tallied a victory in the No. 3 position, 6-0, 6-3. Junior Kindsay Grimes, freshman Thalia Diaz-Barriga and sophomore Agostina Santoro all netted wins in the bottom half of the lineup.
Tulsa dominated doubles action, sweeping all three spots, 8-1.
The Golden Hurricane will return to action on Friday, April 21st, in the Conference USA Women's Tennis Championship. TU, the No. 5 seed, will take on fourth-seeded UAB beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Garland Tennis Center in Garland, Texas.
