Tulsa, Oklahoma - All 12 Golden Hurricane players scored in the contest as Tulsa grabbed an 89-60 victory over Missouri Southern State in exhibition action Monday night in front of 4,376 fans at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Senior Rod Earls and freshman Glenn Andrews led the way for the Hurricane with 18 and 17 points, respectively. Tulsa had three players share the team-lead for rebounding as senior Calvin Walls and sophomores Jerome Jordan and Bishop Wheatley totaled eight boards apiece.

As a team, Tulsa had 24 assists and 15 steals while forcing the Lions into 22 turnovers.

The balanced Tulsa attack saw eight players score at least six points, as the Hurricane connected on 60.9 percent from the field, by shooting a blistering 68.8 percent in the second half.

The Hurricane led by as many as 33 points with just over three minutes left in the game as Rod Earls knocked down his second three-pointer of the game to give Tulsa an 85-52 victory.

The Hurricane increased its 17-point halftime lead to 31 points within the first eight minutes of the second half. Rod Earls hit two three-pointers in the first three minutes of the second half as the Hurricane went ahead by 21 points, 48-27, at the 18:19 mark. The Hurricane used nine straight points from Andrews to increase the lead to 26 points at 61-35 at the 13:35 mark.

The Hurricane led at halftime 39-22 as 11 of 12 Tulsa players scored first-half points, led by Earls' 10 points. Tulsa hit 53-percent of its field goals, but was 0-of-5 from three-point range.

The victory gives Tulsa an overall 48-2 mark in exhibition games and increases Tulsa's exhibition game winning streak to 19 games.

Tulsa opens the regular season on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm as the Hurricane takes on Hampton in College Park, Maryland, in the first round of the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic.
