Tulsa Set to Face Oklahoma

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa's women's tennis team (7-0) will be back on the court on February 13 when it hosts in-state rival Oklahoma at 3 p.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Tulsa, ranked No. 56 nationally, is looking to stay flawless on the year and pick up its seventh win against a team in the central region.
Last time out, the Golden Hurricane kept its record clean by grabbing a 4-3 win over No. 64 Rice at home.
Tulsa jumped to the 1-0 lead after sweeping the doubles matches. Kindsay Grimes and Carla Zabaleta took the first win at the two position, 8-3, over Dominique Karas and Rebecca Lin. Thalia Diaz-Barriga and Jie Zeng won the point clincher with an 8-6 win over Emily Braid and Christine Dao, while Santie Delport and Marta Marcinkowska completed the sweep with an 8-6 defeat of Tiffany Lee and Julie Chao at the one position.
TU moved ahead 2-0 with a 6-3, 6-2 win at the two position by Zabaleta over Dao, and went to 3-0 when Agostina Santoro dispensed with Braid at the six spot, 6-0, 6-3.
Rice answered with a 6-3, 6-3 win by Karas over Eleonora Kuruc at the five position to cut the TU lead to 3-1.
The Golden Hurricane clinched the win with a win at the three position by Delport over Lee, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5.
