The Tulsa women's golf team finished in 15th place at The "Mo" Morial Tournament. The Golden Hurricane carded a final round of 334 for a 978 total at the par-72 Traditions Golf Club on Sunday.The nation's third-ranked Arizona State finished in first-place in the team race with a 54-hole total of 893, 11 strokes ahead of second-place #6 Southern California (904). Rounding out the top-five teams were #16 UCLA (917), #10 Oklahoma State (917) and #13 Denver (922).
Tulsa junior Michaela Cavener claimed an eighth-place finish overall with a score of 227 after today's round of 74. Classmate Tara Goedeken finished in 43rd place with a 241 score, followed by freshman Ashleigh Odgers in 75th place with a 254 total. Sophomore Annabel Rolley recorded a 78th-place mark as she carded a 256. TU played one golfer short of the normal five players.
Southern Cal's Paola Moreno finished in first-place individually with an even par 216.
TU will be in action next at the PING/ASU Invitational on March 30-31, in Tempe, Arizona.
