Santoro Named to C-USA All Academic Team

Tulsa, Okla. - The Tulsa women's tennis team (18-4) picked up a another win this season, but this one was in the classroom with Agostina Santoro being named to the Conference USA Women's Tennis All-Academic Team.
Seven women's tennis student-athletes were named to the 2006-07 Conference USA All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office today. East Carolina had two members on the team, while Marshall, Memphis, Rice, SMU and Tulsa all placed one representative on the inaugural squad. The all-academic team consisted of seven student-athletes that have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and have competed in 75 percent of their team's scheduled matches.
Santoro, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, sports a 3.62 GPA in biochemistry and is a Commissioner's Honor Roll member. The junior is 23-4 in singles matches this season, and is 10-0 at No. 5 singles this spring.
Tulsa will be back in action when it hosts the Conference USA Women's Tennis Championship April 19-22 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
